If the world is my oyster, then every day in it is an opportunity to find or create a pearl.

A fresh perspective on resolutions…

With the first month of this year just about done, I’ve been taking stock of my progress with the changes I’m making this year. How about you?

One of my intentions for 2017 is to write more publicly. So, I recently wrote a piece for the Do Lectures about changing the way we think about resolutions in order to make them stick.

My story involves oysters and astronauts.

The Do Lectures is an encouragement network which offers a fantastic array of inspirational resources, including video talks, books, workshops and yearly speaker festivals.  (I was fortunate to be able to attend Do Wales in 2016, which was instrumental in helping my doodles take flight).

For 2017, the Do Lectures team started a new publication on Medium called Do Contribute.

I’m thrilled to say that I’m going to be one of their 12 regular contributors!  So, occasionally I’ll be sharing articles like this one with you here.

Spread the Love

If you like my suggestions for becoming more resolute about your resolutions (and you have a Medium account*), please recommend my story by clicking on  the little grey heart at the bottom. That way more people will be made aware of both Do Contribute and my article.

Keep going and remember, it’s never too late to make change. If things didn’t start off quite as you’d hoped, you don’t have to wait until next year to get yourself back on track.

Let’s get cracking on February!

Cheers, Mich :)
